The Spring Holy Days are upon us and there is much to be considered. It is a time to thank God for delivering us out of the bondage of slavery, which is sin, and focusing our thoughts on our Savior Jesus Christ who is our Passover.

It is easy for me to recall the aroma and nostalgia of childhood Holy Days with my family and friends. It was the new dress my mother would make me and the delicious food on the Night To Be Remembered, which is the Old Testament Passover and the talks that took place around the dinning room table. It was the fun of balancing raisins on a piece of flat bread and having yet one more piece of my Mom’s fabulous fudge.
Today, I continue to enjoy many of the things I liked as a child about the Holy Days and I am blessed to share these important days with my children. However, I do view the upcoming Holy Days, particularly Passover differently than I did as a child. While the Old Testament Passover is obviously a celebration of the liberation of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt, it reaches far beyond a historical event. Passover is about Christ’s sacrifice for the individual and the world. This thought alone puts chills up my spine. God’s Holy Days mean more when a person has some clear understandable information. The writers for this quarter’s issue of Infuse have met the challenge to help you do just that. Within these articles you will have the opportunity to learn about God’s spring Holy Days, the Sabbath and dating. In order to achieve anything worthwhile in this life, one must have God’s Word in his or her heart. I pray these articles not only lead you to have a desire to soak up God’s Word, but that they help you begin to develop a lasting relationship with your Creator. God bless you,
